Non-Financial Requirements – Silver, Gold, Platinum and SEZ/SFZ Categories

Minimum Age
  • Silver, Gold, Platinum Categories : 25 years old and above.
  • SEZ/SFZ Category : 21 years old and above.
ApplicationAll applications will have to be submitted through MOTAC’s MM2H Registered Agents.
CountriesApplicants must be from countries that have established diplomatic relations with Malaysia.
Eligible DependentsApplicant may apply to bring the following Dependents:

  • Legal spouse.
  • Biological children, adopted children, stepchildren (under the Age of 34) who are single and unemployed in Malaysia.
  • Disabled children (medical certified) with no age limit.
  • Parents, parents-in-law.
  • Foreign domestic helper (only for Platinum category applicants).
Minimum StayApplicant aged under 50 must reside in Malaysia for a cumulative 90 days in a year.

The Minimum Stay Requirement can be cumulatively combined between the Applicant and Dependents.

Applicants aged 50 and above are exempted from the 90-day minimum stay requirement.

Medical CheckupMedical Checkup in hospital or clinic in Malaysia.
Health InsuranceHealth Insurance is compulsory for the Applicant aged below 60.
Change of PrincipalThe MM2H Pass is transferable to the next-of-kin among the registered Dependents in the event of the death of the Applicant.
