(formerly known as PERKESO National Neuro-Robotic and Cybernics Rehabilitation Centre) located in Bandar Meru Raya, Ipoh, was officially launched on June 16, 2026, it is the largest and most advance neuro-robotic and cybernetics rehabilitation facility in Southeast Asia, offering cutting-edge rehabilitation services in a modern, integrated healthcare environment.

The Centre is equipped with the wearable cyborg-type Hybrid Assistive Limb (HAL) robotic suit, developed by Japan’s Cyberdyne Inc., which detects bio-electric signals to assist physical movement and supports rehabilitation for patients recovering from stroke, neurological disorders, spinal cord injuries, orthopaedic injuries, neuromuscular conditions and post-surgery disabilities. With 65 HAL units deployed at a single facility, the Centre has the world’s largest installation of this pioneering rehabilitation technology.
